Guided Kayak & Photography Tours on Haley Pond

Join an early morning or evening paddle on Haley Pond with the Common Loons. Your guide will be Registered Maine Guide and professional nature and wildlife photographer Nick Leadley. For over 15 years he has been photographing these amazing birds in their natural environment.

 

Each trip lasts 60 to 90 minutes at times of day when the birds are most active. The daily schedule is listed below. Kayaks, paddles and life vests are available from the Rangeley Inn.

 

Group size is limited to two to three people per trip so as to not overwhelm the birds. During the nesting season areas of the pond with nests are strictly avoided.

Please be sure to bring water and sunscreen.

 

Due to bad weather trips may be cancelled. In the event of a cancellation trips can be rescheduled.
